Forex Swing Trading – An Easy to Understand Methodology For Triple Digit Gains
Forex swing trading is easy to understand and do and it’s exciting and its a great way for traders to start making triple digit gains in around 30 minutes a day. You can easily learn to swing trade, even if you have never traded before.
If you look at any currency pair, you will see short term price spikes where prices move either to far ahead in an up trend or to far down in a down trend – they spike away from the prevailing trend and then come back to it, if you look at ANY short term price spike it never lasts. This is greed at work in an up trend and fear at work in a down trend.
Humans will always push prices to far and this is what you are looking for as a swing trader – areas of overbought or oversold to sell or buy into and look for a return to fair value.
As soon as you see a market that becomes overbought or oversold, watch for a double top to occur and then check momentum indicators. Momentum indicators are easy to learn and will give you the strength of the move and will show you if momentum is over bought or oversold.
Once momentum diverges from the trend i.e. in an uptrend, momentum starts to fall, you can sell.
There are many momentum indicators which you can use to see these divergences in price and they include – MACD, the stochastic, RSI and the ADX.
Each of these indicators, will take you around an hour to learn and there visual, so you can spot divergences in momentum at a glance.
Of all the above, we like the stochastic and if you sell down turns in the stochastic from overbought levels in an up trend and do the opposite in a downtrend, you can time your trading signal.
Once you are in the market, your stop goes behind resistance or support and you set a target where you take profit. We like the 20 day Moving average or nearby support or resistance and you then bank the profit.
Forex swing trading can be learned in a week or so and then you can make big profits, in around 30 minutes a day.
